Cadalog,Inc. has one of the most advanced
and comprehensive 3D parts libraries for SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor
and SolidEdge. Originally developed, the parts library applications
produce native, feature-based, mechancial design components. These
components are based on industry standards such as ANSI, JIS, ISO,
DIN and KS or on manufacturer catalogs such as THK, PEM, Torrington,
NSK, Misumi and many others. The parts library plug-ins are called
SolidMech (PartsWorks in Japan) for SolidWorks, PartNow! for AutoCAD
and Inventor, and SE-PartsXL for SolidEdge. In North America the
English language versions are sold through OhYeahCAD.
In Japan, through Otsuka Shokai and CADstoreJapan. If you are located
in Asia and would like to sell these parts library programs, please
contact us or go to our Sales.
Parts Library Information
Cadalog's parts library plug-ins are the most comprehensive mechanical
parts libraries for Inventor/AutoCAD, SolidWorks and SolidEdge.
They consist of standard fasteners, bearings, and steel shapes,
as well as a large number of parts from U.S. and Japanese manufacturers’
catalogs.
The programs quickly create parts parametrically inside Inventor,
AutoCAD, SolidWorks or SolidEdge. The libraries are based on industry
standards and manufacturers’ catalogs. All parts can be edited
to the customers specifics.
PartsNow!4.1 builds components inside Inventor 7.0,, 6.0 and 5.3
and AutoCAD 2004, 2002 and 2000. In AutoCAD all parts are available
in 2D and 3D formats.
SolidMech or PartsWorks 4.1 is made to work in SolidWorks 2001
through 2004.
SE-PartsXL 4.1 is made to work in SolidEdge 12 through 15.
To purchase these programs go to OhYeahCAD.
What are some of the features of these parts libraries?
#1 - Huge parts library that work inside CAD programs.
With several million parts available, the libraries are the largest
3D native parts libraries in the world. The programs also have the
same number of parts for AutoCAD in multiple 2D views.
What are some of the types of parts found in the libraries?
Standard mechanical parts such as bolts, nuts, washers, pins, steel
shapes, pipe fittings, etc. Bearings, gears, fasteners for Mold
Bases, linear motion devices, motors, clamps, etc. The libraries
supports ANSI, ISO, JIS and DIN standards as well as 52 manufacturer
catalogs.
#2 - Search Parts
A keyword search engine has been added to version 4.1 allowing
the user to quickly find a specific type of part. Since the parts
library database now has thousands of types of parts using this
search engine can narrow down your search, quickly.
#3 - Bearings are now created as single parts instead of assemblies.
One of the most user-requested items was to create bearings as
a single part in a part environment instead of an assembly.
#4 - Custom Property data with every part for BOM creation
Every part has custom property data "attached" such as
part name, manufacturer's name, part type and size.
#5 - Native Objects change to Native 3D Features.
PartsNow!, SolidMech and SE-PartsXL generate every component as
a part or an assembly inside the respective CAD platform so each
component is a feature-based part or assembly file. Features can
be edited like any parametric feature.
For AutoCAD, PartsNow! creates 2D or 3D solids using AutoCAD's
native commands. You also have an option of what 2D view to create.
#6 - Washer assembly. .
You have option to automatically add up to three washers with each
bolt or screw generated.
#7 - Edit Data .
The programs will display additional detail information about each
part and even have the option to edit and save dimensional information.
